SORRY. LYNCHBURG LEMONADE NOT INCLUDED Justin has been in the business of making obsession-worthy boots since 1879, and they’ve gotten pretty damn good at it. Made in Ft Worth Texas back in the day, these iconic boots are Justin at its best. We should all look so good at this age.  Skins are supple and tough as nails. Immaculate inside. Leather soles over original pegged leather soles that show some wear.   Boots, wild women and Jack Daniels.   The women will drive  you crazy and the Jack Daniels will make you even crazier.  But boots like these will be reliable, good natured and kind to you, even the morning after.  We promise.

THREE LITTLE THINGS ​​Vintage 70s Tony Lama western cowboy boots with a peanut brittle finish on the vamps and classic retro stitched shafts.  Very rare to find boots from this era in such a big size. These Black Label classics were made by hand in Lama’s shop in El Paso in the 70s, and they are highly sought after by boot addicts for their quality of workmanship. Beautiful condition for their age. We didn’t touch the distressed areas with polish, as we think they look pretty cool the way they are. “I AM A THUNDERBIRD.  I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE STORM” Vintage 1977 Stewart custom made thunderbird cowboy western boots. Made in Stewart’s little shop in Tucson, Arizona, where for 50 years Victor Borg has crafted boots for hundreds of rabid fans, including Billy Crystal, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood and Cuba’s current leader, Raul Castro. Pretty much flawless. Leather so soft it may ruin you for any other boots.  Immaculate inside. Hand stitched, pegged leather soles show normal wear   From the Ojibwa to the Algonquian nations, the thunderbird is a legendary creature, considered a supernatural being of power and strength in indigenous peoples’ history and culture – often controlling the storms and punishing underwater creatures and spirits.  Winnebago tradition states that a man who has a vision of a thunderbird during a solitary fast will become a war chief. In a speech a few days before the Iranian revolution, the last Prime Minister of Imperial Iran said: “I am a thunderbird, I am not afraid of the storm.” Seems like we could all use a little thunderbird mojo in our lives right now.

Boots so soft you could wear em barefoot and never notice you weren’t wearing your slippers.  Immaculate inside and out.    Well done leather half soles over original pegged leather soles.   M.L. Leddy’s kicks are known as the Ferrari of boots – and it seems no-one is arguing.   Many of Leddy’s customers are second and third generation, and tickled pink to add more pages to  Leddy’s ledgers of each of the 5000,000  plus customers  who have come to Leddys for the best boots in Texas. Best boots in Texas?  Yes sir – at least according to the thousands of politicians, ranchers, farmers, oilmen, barrel racers, cutting-horse champions, lawyers, surgeons, car dealers and football coaches who are die-hard Leddy fans.

LUCCHESE ADDICTS BEWARE Vintage 1980s USA-handmade Lucchese San Antonio lush brown French toe kicks with modified mules ears, made in San Antonio, Texas.  An unusual find in this large a size and superb condition.  Lucchese San Antonio are the gold standard of Lucchese boots.  One diehard cowboy boot addict once told me that modern Luccheses were like a good solid meal, but Lucchese San Antonios  – well, they were like oxygen. Wear them once, and you’ll see why. Gorgeous condition.  One tiny white spot (paint?) and a couple very minor scuffs keep these from being absolutely perfect. Leather so soft it may ruin you for any other boots.  Immaculate inside. Hand stitched, double row wood pegged leather soles in beautiful condition.  72 wood pegs per boot.   There are no Lucchese fans – just addicts. Snag these rare Luccheses, and you’ll be a Lucchese addict for life.

LUCCHESE ADDICTS BEWARE Vintage 1989 USA-handmade Lucchese Classics ostrich kicks in their original mailing box from Lucchese – including the 1989 postmark. Flawless. Worn only a couple times, and it shows. These look like they just came out of the Lucchese shop. Leather so soft it may ruin you for any other boots.  Immaculate inside. Hand stitched, double row wood pegged leather soles in beautiful condition. 32 wood pegs per boot. “Lucchese Handmade” stamp on soles still very visible.   These are a real piece of boot history, with their original Lucchese mailing box, including the September 22, 1989 postmark and the original buyer’s mailing label. His name has been cropped out of the pic. Very rare to find a pair of Lucchese Classics ostrich boots in this condition. Original owner wore them a couple times and then stored them in their Lucchese mailing box – for 31 years. Grab these boots and do a little time traveling.

LOVELORN, LOVESICK AND LOVELESS?  NOT IN THESE BOOTS Loveless dark brown leather cowboy western boots custom made back with great inlays and stitching, and an orthopedic heel on the left boot to accommodate a brace. Prices range from $650 to $5,500 for their custom boots. Crossed Xs front and back, very cool boot pulls, some damn masterful decorative stitching, and a killer patina.
