Children who go to school hungry – and worry about what they’ll have to eat on weekends and school breaks. The elderly – someone’s meemaw or pawpaw, who worked hard all their lives and now have to choose between food and medicine. And country folk – the counties with the hungriest kids are rural. The farm communities that feed the world have kids going hungry.
Hunger respects no maps – it’s happening in small towns and big cities and everything in between. It’s happening in your town as well, guaranteed.
